The Sarnia Braves defeated the Port Lambton Pirates 11-0 in WCBL action on
Wednesday night at Errol Russel Park in Sarnia.

Lefthander Lance Hart pitched a two hit shutout for the Braves. Hart moved
his record to 2-0 with a 0.50 ERA.

Sarnia jumped on the board in the first inning as centerfielder James Grant
and first baseman Rick Taylor connected for back to back RBI singles.
Leftfielder Jamie Barron and shortstop Russ Hoekstra came around to score.
Visiting pitcher Cory Toms then worked his way out of the inning for the
Pirates with one out and runners on the corners.

After a quiet second, the Braves hit the board for nine runs in the third
