GAME REPORT
The Sarnia Braves defeated the Wyoming Cattlebarons 6-5 at Errol Russel Park on Tuesday night by a score of 6-5. Lee Arnold picked up the win in relief as he fanned three over two innings. Mike Long had the no decision for Sarnia, pitching five innings, striking out six.

Down 5-4 entering their last at bats, Andrew Westlake ripped a one out single to right that scored Pat McKay to knot the game at five apiece. The Braves first baseman advanced to third on the play as the Cattlebarons throw ricocheted out of play. He would score on a Tyler Young wild pitch to Rick Taylor as the Braves captured their first walk off win of the season.

Sarnia took the lead in the first inning as McKay and James Grant came into score after back to back base hits. Nick Core would score for Wyoming in the top of the third to close the gap to one before Westlake and Taylor made the score 4-1 in the bottom of the inning.

Wyoming battled back in the fifth and sixth as Core, Matt McGrail, Chris Pool and Todd Richardson all scored as the visitors took the 5-4 lead.

McKay, Grant, Westlake and Taylor all scored and had hits for Sarnia. Scott Finnie, Russ Hoekstra and Jamie Downton had RBI. Mike Gilroy had two RBI for Wyoming. Mike Shoenmaker had the no decision for the Barons.

Sarnia travels to Forest for their next league game. Check www.sarniabaseball.ca for a full schedule.
